Ikimakee is a company owned by a team of five unique professionals, each with our own skills and backgrounds that contribute to every aspect of our business. We decided to join forces when we were had suddenly been left with nothing after our employer of that time went bankrupt. Looking at the situation from a new perspective, we weren't left completely empty-handed, so we bravely seized the opportunity and set up our own company on the ruins of the old one. We found support and courage in each other as we faced the new. The same community spirit has continued to be a key strength of our business ever since.
Every product is handmade in our Vantaa workshop, which allows us to seamlessly monitor quality and develop technical features as part of our daily work. In product development, we strive to enable the customer's individual wishes and needs. Every home and person is different, which is why our sofas must also be able to bend to many different shapes. Thanks to the its modularity, the sofa can be adapted to any space, allowing the model to be customized throughout its life cycle. One can never be sure how and where life will grab you. The sofa's removable covers make it easy to switch between color, texture and mood to suit the space. A sofa is a simple, everyday object, but it has the potential to be much more, without being overly complicated.
Our team meantality is straightforward yet considerate, which is reflected in both the product and the service we offer. You can design a sofa completely independently, but we are also eager to be involved in every stage of the design process.
